National Women’s History Month
March 2020 will feature several fundraising events for We Gotchya. Please join us for one or all of these:
HyVee Wednesday Night Dinners, 5-7 p.m. — Proceeds benefit We Gotchya.
Wednesday, March 4: Breakfast for Dinner
Wednesday, March 11: Taco Bar — All You Can Eat, $9
Wednesday, March 18: Philly Sandwich, Fries & Drink, $10
Wednesday, March 25: Hamburger or Hot Dog, Chips, Drink & Cookie, $7/$6
A&G Drink Specials:
Every Thursday in March order a Raspberry or Cosmopolitan Martini and $1 will be donated to We Gotchya.
All month long, order a Taboo Brew for $5 and $1 will be donated to We Gotchya. Taboo Brew is a 23-ounce Michelob Ultra with Bloody Mary mix — mmm!!
Tree Lighting Ceremony, Dec. 3, 2019
Northwest Missouri State University’s annual tree lighting ceremony this year will help collect donations for several charities, including We Gotchya.
The Jasinski family is working with the Career Closet, Bearcat Food Pantry, We Gotchya and Staff Council to collect items and donations to help the Northwest community.
Through Friday, Dec. 20, Northwest is placing Christmas trees with collection bins at the Administration Building, J.W. Jones Student Union and Lamkin Activity Center to collect items for the Career Closet, Bearcat Food Pantry and We Gotchya. Collection bins also are located at the B.D. Owens Library.
Career Closet high-need items: Socks, hats, gloves, ties
Bearcat Food Pantry high-need items: Peanut butter (small jars), canned fruit, complete meals (heat and serve), canned tuna and chicken, cereal, pancake mix complete, mac and cheese, pasta (any type), cranola and cereal bars, powdered milk (small containers), soup, hygiene items (toilet paper, deodorant, body spray, etc.)
We Gotchya items: Tampons, pads and liners
Pay it Forward: Gas cards, Walmart cards, gift cards and monetary donations should be delivered to the Career Services office, located on first floor of the Administration Building.
Celebrate the holiday season by the joy of giving and placing any donations at these collection sites. We thank you and wish you Happy Holidays.
After Hours at the Gaunt House
Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 5-7 p.m.
Denise Jaskinski has invited We Gotchya supporters to hang at the Gaunt House!
We’ll talk, laugh, drink ginger ale and wine, snack on snacky stuff (not dinner, just small snacks!) and watch the 25-minute 2019 Academy Award-winning documentary, “Period, End of Sentence.”Come and hang out and celebrate all we’ve accomplished in the past year! If you’ve contributed at any level, please come! If you have a friend who might be interested, bring that person, too!

There already are volunteers to bring ginger ale and wine. Feel free to bring something else or a small snack — but don’t worry if you don’t. It’s just a social gathering!
